Upon walking into the live room for the very first time, you immediately feel a buzz in the air. Maybe it’s the parquet tiles (the same ones at Abbey Road) or the classic 70s slanted wood panels along the walls, or perhaps given the fact that it was Maurice White’s (founder and lead singer Earth Wind & Fire) favorite tracking room for vocals, overdubs, drums and horns. The creative mojo within these walls is very apparent. Warm and punchy, anything you record in this room ends up sounding like a classic record.
